Surfbreaks

Morro Negrito is the perfect tropical surf vacation for beginners and professionals alike. You will surf a selection of 5 reef breaks and a handful of beach breaks. The private beach breaks make for a great beginner surf trip. The barreling reef breaks are ideal for intermediate to advanced surfers.

The Point

Is located on the main island and is a left. The Point pumps out one of the most picturesque waves and will hold almost any size of surf. This wave is recommended for advanced surfers due to its speed and lava rock bottom.

Emily's

Is located directly in front of the surf camp and breaks left. It isn't the largest wave at Morro Negrito, but with its reef bottom it has some sweet sections that are very workable. Being directly in front of the camp, you can hear your fellow campers cheer you on as you score clean little tubes. The biggest Emily's usually gets is anywhere from 5-7 foot. This break is recommended for surfers that are intermediate to advanced.

Sandbar

The sandbar is a 15 minute boat ride from the surf camp and breaks both left and right. It is near a river mouth that creates the epic sandbar surf. For many years the sandbar broke almost 200 yards out. Recently the sandbar has shifted and is producing fast bowling waves closer to the shore. The waves at the sandbar will hold surf anywhere from 8-10 foot. This break is recommended for any skill level.

P-Land

Is located on the outer island and breaks left. P-Land is one of the most recognized waves at Morro Negrito due to its size and power. This wave is consistently the largest wave at Morro Negrito and will hold surf 20+ feet.

Nestles

Is located on the outer island and breaks both left and right. Depending on your drop-in skills, Nestles can be one of the funnest or most terrifying waves. People have said that Nesltes breaks similar to the box in that it peaks quickly and throws an enormous barrel. This wave is recommended for intermediate to advanced surfers due to its thickness and reef bottom.

El Toro

Is located on the opposite end of the main island and breaks both left and right. The wave is found between giant rock formations and makes for an extremely gorgeous experience. This wave is recommended for all skill levels.
